We are a fast-paced, growing retail shop with a wealth of experience in delivering beautiful luxury balloons to customers. From epic installations to luxurious personalised balloons, Hullaballoonza is at the heart of the party!

Since opening the shop in 2018, we have grown at a rapid pace and now have a number of different positions available.

Balloon Crew Member

Hours:  Part-Time  Tuesday-Saturday   12-5pm

Start Date:  ASAP

Wage:  £9.50p/hour

As a member of the Balloon Crew, your primary role is to ensure balloons are inflated, dressed, personalised & dispatched in perfect condition in an efficient, timely manner.

 

The role is varied, from foil and bubble balloon inflation to Arches and Garland installations.  This is a very physical role, The Balloon Crew and Creative team are on their feet all day and therefore an efficient and energetic individual is essential, with a keen attitude for multi-tasking.   

 

The applicant must have a great eye for detail, as perfection is crucial.  We strive on creating only the highest standard balloons and customer service.

 

This is a fast paced, fun environment and we are looking for the perfect team member to add value to our already great team. Yours tasks will include:

  • Inflating daily balloon orders

  • Applying personalisation to balloons

  • Picking & packing orders

  • Loading, unloading, delivering, and installing orders

  • Working to strict deadlines and time frames

  • Working under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • At busy times you will be expected to go the extra mile to get the job completed

  • Managing and maintaining stock levels

  • Eye for detail

  • Energetic and happy to be on your feet for most of the day

  • Keen attitude to learn

  • Keen attitude to multi-tasking

 

The ideal applicant will have a background in design or have some artistic abilities, but this is not essential.  All balloon skills will be taught to the successful applicant.

Retail Sales Assistant

Hours:  Part-Time  Tuesday-Saturday   12-5pm

Start Date:  ASAP

Wage:  £9.50p/hour

As a member of the sales team, you are expected to greet customers when they first enter the store and provide high quality guidance and advice on products and services.  High quality customer service is a must and therefore a customer focused, professional, approachable, and friendly individual is essential. 

 

You will be expected to help and advise customers not only face to face, but also via phone, social media and email outlets.  The same level of customer service is expected throughout.

 

This is a varied role and you will need to have a keen attitude for multi-tasking.  Other tasks can include:

  • Meeting & greeting customer

  • Answering enquiries online via social media channels and emails

  • Managing and maintaining stock

  • Picking & packing

  • Placing stock orders

  • Accepting, checking, pricing and unpacking orders

  • Good Housekeeping, ensuring both the shop and stock areas are clean and tidy at all times

  • Visual merchandising

  • Sales reporting

  • Restocking

  • Working closely with the Balloon Crew and Creative Team

  • Even inflating a few balloons if and when necessary

 

This can be a very fast paced environment and the right applicant must be energetic with a can do attitude, ready to multi-task and complete any task needed to ensure the smooth running of the business.

 

Customer service experience will be beneficial but not necessary.

Office Assistant 

Hours:  Part-Time  Monday-Friday   12-5pm

Start Date:  ASAP

Wage:  £9.50p/hour

This position is suitable for only the most organised of individual.  You will be expected to liaise with the Balloon Crew and Sales Team on a daily basis.  Marketing knowledge would be beneficial as you will also be creating marketing campaigns & posting to our social media channels.  A high level of attention to detail is a must. 

 

This is a varied role and you will need to have a keen attitude for multi-tasking.  Other tasks can include:

  • Creating social media posts including Facebook, Instagram, Stories, Reels & LinkedIn

  • Managing online presence and brand

  • Designing and printing vinyl decals

  • Updating the website with new images and information

  • Simple HR tasks

  • Liaising with suppliers

 

This can be a very fast paced environment and the right applicant must be energetic with a can do attitude, ready to multi-task and complete any task needed to ensure the smooth running of the business.

 

Marketing and a good knowledge social media platforms experience will be beneficial.
